Welcome

Founded in 1997, South Buffalo Rugby Football Club is one of the premier men's sports clubs in Western New York.

We welcome all players, of any age and skill level to join! The team is always looking for new members to join its solid ranks of athletes. South Buffalo RFC prides itself on its winning tradition, along with sportsmanship and competitive spirit. Most importantly, having fun is a main priority amongst the club's members.

For women interested in rugby, we have a sister club, the South Buffalo Sinners Women's Rugby Club.

Starting in 2012, South Buffalo Rugby will be competing in the newly formed Empire Rugby Football Union Geographic Union, Division III. 

Empire GU manages and fosters rugby for more than 100 men's and women's clubs and colleges in New York State, Northern New Jersey and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Club Announcements

• Outdoor practices will continue on Tuesday and Thursdays at Conway Park. 6-8pm. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing and gear, including light and dark jerseys, rugby shorts, mouth guards, cleats, water, etc. Click here for a map and directions to our home field. 

• Spring 2013 & Playoff schedules have been released. Click here to view the entire schedule. They will be great test matches leading up to the National Playoffs.
